The Blood of Dawnwalker

The Blood of Dawnwalker x The Node: Twitch influencer campaign for the launch in France
Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe entrusted us with the Twitch influencer campaign for the launch of The Blood of Dawnwalker in France—the action RPG developed by Rebel Wolves.
The goal: to ensure that communities don’t just watch the game, but actually play it.
A Twitch concept built on the game's DNA
In *The Blood of Dawnwalker*, every decision has real consequences, and the shift between day and night changes everything. The Node has designed an interactive experience that incorporates these two key elements to transform seven French streamers (Alderiate, LittleBigWhale, Trixy, Hugo Délire, Mister MV, Alphacast, and Pressea) and their viewers into active participants in the story.
Narrative choices entrusted to the live chat
Throughout the adventure, the streamers improvised key decisions whenever the story called for it. Viewers voted directly by typing in the chat—without using Twitch’s native polling feature—and the verdict determined what happened next.
The result: communities that went from being spectators to co-pilots, with fates sometimes sealed by the chat in record time.
Dynamic overlays inspired by the game's HUD
The live streams featuredcustom stream overlays, designed in line with the artistic vision of *The Blood of Dawnwalker* and tailored to reflect the game’s day-night cycle. Inspired by the in-game HUD, they displayed questions, options, and the chat’s final decision, blurring the line between the concept and the game itself.
A 100% live activation, adjusted in just a few seconds
No choices were prepared in advance. With the streamers improvising every decision, the dynamic overlays were updated in real time—in a matter of seconds—to keep pace with each livestream without ever breaking the immersion.
A multi-format strategy to boost the launch
Highlights from the live streams were repurposed into YouTube content and short-form videos to expand the campaign’s reach far beyond Twitch and maximize visibility for the game’s launch in France.
